8 months ago My fiancé and I visited Dejan Jewelers and commissioned his wedding band here. We had been to so many jewelers in the DC area that only had a handful of options for men's bands. Dejan probably has 40+ different styles of men's rings in varieties of fine metals on display in his Torpedo Factory studio with options to customize them all. We were able to modify one of his rings in palladium with rose gold to add a custom sourced Montana sapphire, made to order, in less than a month (ordered May 10, ready June 4). He sent pictures of the sourced stone and 3D rendering of the design before beginning work. Communication was great through the process. It turned out beautifully! I have been following his work for some time now and excited to have our own piece.

With our wedding fast approaching and still being new to the area, my wife and I had resigned ourselves to ordering our rings from Etsy. Luckily, a friend recommended that we visit Dejan first before buying anything. We fell in love with his unique, creative designs. He was incredibly easy to work with and after a few discussions of ring styles and stone settings that we liked he was able to quickly envision what we were looking for in our rings. He developed a 3D rendering and showed us several variations of the stones from which we selected the exact ones we wanted. It only took two weeks from conception to completion (during, the Christmas holiday, no less), including a quick resizing to get the perfect fit. Every time we visited the studio we were greeted with a wonderful, joyous smile and a warm, exuberant greeting. I was so in love with all of his jewelry that I also purchased a pair of beautiful earrings to wear with my wedding dress! You can tell Dejan loves every part of his job and takes pride in his creations. We are totally enamored with the wedding rings he designed for us, and will definitely be adding more of Dejan's work to our collection.

Working with Dejan was such a wonderful experience! Dejan is enthusiastic, passionate, creative, personable, and so incredibly talented. My fiancé and I went to the studio several times. We were inexperienced with fine jewelry and indecisive. Initially Ivan helped us and had me try on a ring I never thought would be my style but ended up being our inspiration. Dejan was patient with us and made the custom engagement ring process so much fun! For instance, when we decided the shape of diamond but didn’t know if we wanted to go natural or lab grown, Dejan displayed six similar stones and had us blindly select our favorite so we were not swayed by quality, type, size, etc. This helped us select the stone we truly wanted. We brought in pictures of what setting we envisioned. For weeks, Dejan would provide us renderings and wax models and we would refine our design and choices. Sometimes there was a gap in time between refining and seeing the next product BUT when we saw the quality of the renderings and models, we very much understood why. Me and my fiancé also had no timeline for when we wanted the ring completed which Dejan very openly discussed and checked in with us about. The process was smooth and collaborative. The ring holds even more significance knowing we were part of its creation. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the process and how fair and reasonable it was to commission Dejan’s incredible work. Dejan was able to design a ring that met all my expectations and my fiancee loved the final result. She has been asked multiple times if the ring is an antique (which it is not.) The craftsmanship is amazing and her ring is truly one of a kind. He was also able to find a better price on a lab grown stone than I found online that was also bigger and more clear. We will be using him for our wedding bands and other jewelry needs moving forward.
Dejan is great! We went to him for our custom matching wedding bands and had it done in 2 weeks! We designed 2 mobius strip rings in software and 3d printed it ahead of time to ensure we liked it, but we were unsure if it was easy or realistic to actually make out of platinum. In person he measured everything, suggested a slight thickness change, but otherwise assured us the rings were durable (even though it had little thickness at parts). We sent him the .stl files of the rings and 2 weeks later he said it was done already! The price was comprable to a similar material & size ring elsewhere online, but this way we could make it exactly how we wanted. Thanks Dejan!

Had a great experience from start to finish with Dejan Studio! My fiance and I came in to design my engagement ring with very little idea of what we wanted. Emily helped us try on different options in store and ultimately design such a beautiful custom ring. They even were able to complete the ring before originally planned so my fiance could bring the ring on an upcoming trip for a surprise proposal.
